Nationally recognized program started by   two volunteers from Marion, IA in 1989.

Largest privately funded statewide tree-planting organization in the U.S.

       Participates in state-wide community  programs, rural initiatives, education and outreach, and awards programs.

COUNCIL BLUFFS

 Started in 1991 with an $11,000 grant from the National program.

 Articles of Incorporation for Council Bluffs signed on Jan. 22, 1993 by a committee of five members.

Chapter includes concerned citizens representing schools, businesses, government, utilities and the general public.

Since 1991, the Council Bluffs group has worked on a wide variety of project sites including schools, parks and public property.
